WHAT
IS DAD?
A Dad is a wonderful person
Too little understood,
And we do not sing his praise
As often as we should......
For, somehow, Dad seems to be
The man who pays the bills,
While Mum binds up little hurts
And nurses all our ills....
Although Dad's life is busy,
Truly we are glad,
He's a source of strength and support
We are pleased to call him Dad.
He is proud of our triumphs,
But when things go wrong,
He puts us back on our feet,
making us so strong.
If you look inside Dad's heart
Where no one else can see
You'll find he is loving and caring
Don't we all agree!
There's always a place for you,
Deep inside our heart,
In all that we do,
You'll always play a part.
